Introducing Noah Aidan...

Noah Aidan Hanaoka was born on Wednesday, April 13th at 1:02 pm. He was 36 weeks but was a healthy 6 lbs 5 oz, 18" long. We're extremely excited to be welcoming a younger brother for Brandon. Mags and Noah are both expected to be released on Friday.

Yo Gabba Gabba! Live

Brandon went to his first concert today! Mags was able to score some front row seats using our AmEx points and it also included a VIP pass that let us hang out with the Yo Gabba Gabba! characters afterwards. Brandon also got his first concert t-shirt!

Brandon's Big Scare

 

Brandon is one allergic boy! He had a taste of marshmallow cream (which has eggs) and he had an anaphalyctic reaction. He went from coughing to problems breathing really quickly, so I had to use the epipen. We called 911, the ambulance came, and he spent a few hours in the emergency room for observation... but Brandon was fine after the epipen. It's good to know that the epipen works, but how scary!

The Big Move

We're all packed and ready to go! It should be interesting -- two adults, a toddler, two dogs and a Thule on top, driving several days up the west coast from Santa Monica, CA to Bellevue, WA. It's hard to believe that we're going to leave Santa Monica -- we absolutely love it here! Plus, we're going to miss all our dear friends. But I'm really looking forward to our new lives in the Pacific Northwest too -- it'll be lots of fun!
